Job Summary:
Telemetry Nurse in Illinois This role involves providing specialized care in the telemetry unit of an acute care hospital. The position requires handling adult patients with cardiac monitoring, post-cardiac catheterization, and other acute diagnoses. The assignment offers a three-week start window with night shifts and a focus on patient-centered care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Illinois nursing license or compact license, ACLS certification, BLS certification, NIHSS certification, 1 year of recent telemetry or applicable clinical experience, and experience with cardiac telemetry, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and management of dysrhythmias.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult cardiac monitoring, post-PCI patients, and care for patients post-CVA.
• Float: No float required.
• Additional Information: The role involves caring for adult patients requiring cardiac monitoring, post-PCI care, and observation for MI. The unit supports interdisciplinary teams including IV, respiratory, radiology, and social services. Orientation of 24 hours is provided. Local candidates within 75 miles are accepted at a local rate. The start date is flexible within three weeks, with a compliance deadline prior to the shift start.
