Job Details Job Location: Cottage Farm - Brookline, MA 02446 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: High School/HiSet/GED Salary Range: $22.28 - $22.28 Hourly Travel Percentage: None Job Shift: Evening Position We are seeking a Therapeutic Community Counselor to join our team. The role involves supporting neurodiverse students in their daily living activities, providing supervision during the overnight shift, and implementing therapeutic frameworks to drive positive outcomes and transition readiness. Key Responsibilities Maintain a safe and therapeutic learning environment and provide individualized support to students based on their learning and treatment needs. Support students with daily stressors using therapeutic frameworks such as CPI, PBIS, and the ARC Framework of Trauma‑Informed Care. Support morning and bedtime routines for residential students. Provide one‑on‑one support to students to encourage engagement in ADLs. Become familiar with residential students’ treatment goals and crisis plans. Complete program communication and documentation requirements, including daily student progress summaries and incident reports. Participate in crisis intervention as needed. Maintain a therapeutic residential environment by ensuring the highest standards of health and safety, and implementing school‑wide therapeutic frameworks. Schedule Overnights Qualifications High School diploma required; B.A. or B.S. in Special Education, Social Work, Education, Psychology, or related field preferred. Experience in residential programming preferred, but not required. Proficiency in understanding and implementing CPI, ARC, and PBIS models of treatment. Consistent professionalism and the ability to develop and maintain safe and effective student/staff relationships. A desire to give and receive feedback to support personal and professional growth. Excellent time management and attendance record. Ability to work collaboratively on a team. Excellent interpersonal skills. A valid driver’s license preferred. CPI, CPR, and First Aid certification (training offered upon hire). Background check, TB, drug, and alcohol testing will be performed prior to the start of employment.
