CDL DRIVER

Job Summary:. We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various destinations. (NJ & NY). This is a vital role in our organization, ensuring timely and safe delivery of products.. Responsibilities - Drive trucks to transport goods and materials to designated locations.. - Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure on-time deliveries.. - Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks.. - Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance checks.. - Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle.. - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays.. - Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members.. - Ensure that all necessary paperwork, such as delivery receipts or bills of lading, are completed accurately.. Qualifications - Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements. - Proven experience as a truck driver or similar role. - Knowledge of route driving and ability to navigate using GPS or maps. - Familiarity with operating forklifts or other loading equipment is a plus. - Experience with shifting a road ranger transmission, tractor-trailers, tankers. forklift.. - Ability to load and unload cargo safely and efficiently. - Strong attention to detail and time management skills. - Excellent communication and customer service skills.
