Role Overview Rite‑Hite Service Technicians install, maintain, and repair loading dock equipment and industrial doors at customer facilities. In addition, Service Technicians act as a technical resource for our customers and the sales force. This position works independently or in small teams in a field service environment, and is a primary customer contact. As an apprentice, you will spend the majority of your time working closely with a senior Technician, learning our products and our customers and developing the skills needed to work on your own. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair loading dock equipment and industrial doors. Act as a technical resource for customers and the sales force. Work independently or in small teams in a field service environment. Serve as a primary customer contact. Qualifications Entry‑level position; prior mechanical or electrical experience helpful. Ability to work independently in a field environment. Good customer service skills. Ability to work outdoors, at heights, and lift up to 100 pounds. Driving a company vehicle; pre‑employment drug test and clean driving record required, as is a DOT physical.
