Job Description

• Carry out thorough patient assessments, performing physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of medical histories
• Assist in the evaluation and diagnosis of surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to create and implement patient-specific surgical treatment strategies
• Provide intraoperative support, including preparation of operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments during procedures
• Offer exemplary pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotations with a surgical focus are strongly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant

Skills
