AP/CP Pathologist

We are seeking a Board-Certified AP/CP Pathologist to join our growing hospital-based practice in Laredo, TX. This position offers the autonomy of an independent hospital role with the strong backing of a collaborative, experienced pathology team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated physician who values high-quality practice standards, professional support, and meaningful clinical impact.

What You Will Do:

Sign out a wide range of anatomic pathology cases
Provide frozen section coverage
Oversee clinical laboratory operations and quality
Collaborate with a dedicated onsite Pathologists' Assistant (majority of grossing performed by PA)
Access remote digital pathology support and expert consultation
Participate in tumor boards, hospital committees, and multidisciplinary meetings
Maintain compliance with CLIA, CAP, Joint Commission, and hospital standards

What We Are Looking For:

Board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP)
Subspecialty training preferred but not required
Eligibility for a Texas medical license
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to practice independently in a hospital setting
Commitment to quality, compliance, and collaborative care
