TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Lubbock, Texas, 79410!

ER Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Valid State License must be in hand Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC Must-Have: Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience Must have required certifications Description: This position involves working in the Emergency Room. The nurse will be responsible for providing care to patients with various conditions. The nurse will work in a Level II Trauma Center. Expected patient ratios are 1:3. Weekend shifts are required, with 6 shifts every 6 weeks. It is important to adhere to the dress code, which includes solid navy blue uniforms. The role does not require floating between units. On-call duties are not required for this position. The unit provides comprehensive care for stroke, STEMI, and trauma patients. Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy. Familiarity with charting systems is required. Candidates should have experience in patient triage and management. This role may involve working with a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Travel may be required within a local radius. The candidate must possess relevant skills such as management of ventilated patients and isolation precautions.
