Logistics Planner

Overview Trane Technologies is hiring a Logistics Planner. In this role, you will manage inbound and outbound freight operations in compliance with internal Logistics and Trade Compliance Policy. Responsibilities Ensure accuracy of import and export documents and HS code application in accordance with trade compliance regulations. Maintain import and export control records and reporting for monthly self‑audit. Maintain facility compliance with hazardous shipment policies. Manage priority shipments, including research, error resolution of high‑priority orders, local carrier communications, relationships, and DOT reporting compliance for facility yard drivers. Establish manufacturing and distribution priorities for customer demand consistent with master scheduling requirements, inventory objectives, and service‑level goals. Coordinate manufacturing and distribution activities and monitor schedule performance against plan to maintain priorities and meet established schedules. Meet daily with cross‑functional teams to resolve delayed customer shipments, component shortages, overtime, priorities, and identified problems. Prepare the daily on‑time shipment miss report, updating cause codes for service‑level reporting. Identify and resolve problems. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in logistics. Knowledge of HS code classification. Experience in import/export declaration. Knowledge of Incoterms and shipment processes for various modes of shipment. Compensation Annual base salary range: $51,800.00 – $93,309.99. Compensation type: salary. Incentive eligible: no. Sales commission eligible: no.
