We are seeking qualified and compassionate professionals, including those with an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R license, to provide therapy and support in our remote community health clinic setting. Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to determine the specific needs of patients and develop individualized treatment plans that promote their mental health recovery.

  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), to deliver therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, and families.

  • Facilitate psychoeducational and support group sessions designed to address common mental health concerns, fostering a sense of community among participants.
  • \n
  • Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • \n
  • Provide crisis intervention services to support patients experiencing mental health emergencies, demonstrating sound judgment and immediate support skills.
  • \n
  • Educate patients on their mental health conditions, explore treatment options, and help them navigate community resources available to them.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with all relevant legal and ethical standards.

  • Actively participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and keep current with advancements in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patients range from children to adults, including diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. You will have the opportunity to work with individuals facing a wide range of mental health issues. This role is integral in providing compassionate care and fostering successful outcomes for patients who may otherwise face barriers to obtaining mental health services.

Qualifications\n

  • A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R within the state of New York.
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of various mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and therapeutic techniques.
  • \n
  • Demonstrated competence in conducting mental health assessments and crafting effective treatment plans.
  • \n
  • Experience in providing both individual and group therapy to diverse client populations.
  • \n
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and rapport with patients.
  • \n
  • Demonstrated ability to adhere to professional ethics and maintain professional boundaries.
  • \n
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and other digital tools related to patient care.
  • \n
  • Capacity to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, particularly in outpatient care.
  • \n
  • Prior experience working with both adult and youth populations.
  • \n
  • Advanced training in evidence-based therapies such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) or Trauma-Informed Care is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
