Overview TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Buford, Georgia. Job Details Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel We are looking for a Physical Therapist (PT) for an immediate travel opening in Buford, GA. The right PT should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted. Read below for additional requirements. Responsibilities Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians) Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within the setting Understand and comply with the respective state PT board rules and regulations Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care Understand adaptive equipment Evaluate and create a plan of care and modify it as indicated based on patient condition Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines Requirements Must have 6 months of experience; new grads are encouraged to apply. Must have BLS and state-specific licensing. Ability to stand and walk for long periods; ability to bend, lean, or stoop as part of job duties Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology Minimum experience: 6 months (1 year preferred) BLS and state-specific licensing required Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment TotalMed Allied Job ID #1418083.
