Details Multidisciplinary ICU providing care for neurological, neuro-surgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology, cardiothoracic, and trauma patients Utilizes advanced critical care technology including ventilators, ventriculostomies, cardiac monitors, pulmonary artery catheters, arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines, IABP, ECMO/tandem heart, Impella, BIS monitors, continuous pulse oximetry, CRRT, gastric tubes, and IV infusion pumps 3x12-hour night shifts on the Cardiac Care Unit 36 hours per week 13-week assignment Requirements Active RN license in DC required BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA only) Minimum 3 years of ICU experience required Minimum 3 years of Cerner EMR experience required Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required BSN highly desired At least 2 years of prior work experience in a US hospital within the specialty area required Two manager or supervisor references required, verifying experience within the last 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer Additional Information Perform a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements Provide care to critically ill patients using a wide range of specialized equipment and technology Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility Local candidates accepted American Traveler Job ID P-747448.
