Pathologist Assistant

The Anatomic Pathology Assistant is responsible for the examination, dissection, description, and grossing of surgical pathology specimens under the direction of a pathologist. This role includes handling both simple and complex tissue specimens while ensuring compliance with laboratory protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. The Pathology Assistant plays a critical role in supporting accurate and timely pathological diagnoses through specimen preparation and documentation. Description: Ability to Gross simple and complex tissue specimens Certification: ASCP Certifications is required as a Pathology Assistant Degree: Completion of Master’s -level Pathologist’s Assistant program is required.
