Location: Independence, OR

Medcor is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team on a PRN (as-needed) basis in an employer-based clinic located within a manufacturing site.

\n

This clinic focuses on Primary Care and Urgent Care and operates:

• Monday Wednesday | 6:00 AM 2:30 PM
\n

\n

Compensation: Starting at $74.00/hour , with increased earning potential based on experience

About the Role

\n

This PRN position offers flexibility with no guaranteed hours , making it ideal for providers looking to pick up occasional shifts.

\n

You will deliver primary care and acute episodic care , working closely with:

\n

\n
• On-site clinical staff
\n
• Medcor leadership and colleagues
\n
• Client health, safety, HR, and operational teams
\n

\n

Youll also collaborate with a Medcor oversight physician assigned to the site.

\n

Additional Details:

• No weekends
\n
• No on-call requirements
\n
• Flexibility for additional hours (with advance notice) preferred
\n

\n

Scope of Services

\n

The clinic provides a wide range of care, including:

\n

\n
• Workers compensation injury and illness treatment
\n
• Urgent care services
\n
• Preventative care
\n
• Surveillance and regulatory exams
\n

\n

A Typical Day Includes

\n

\n
• Delivering high-quality clinical care and customer service
\n
• Treating injuries and illnesses using evidence-based medicine
\n
• Collaborating with internal teams and client professionals
\n
• Supporting workplace health, safety, and wellness programs
\n
• Educating patients on conditions and treatment options
\n
• Coaching patients on healthy lifestyle choices
\n
• Documenting care using EMR and other tools
\n

Qualifications

\n

Required:

\n

\n
• Active, unrestricted Oregon license
\n
• Current DEA and BLS certifications
\n
• Strong computer skills and EMR experience
\n
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
\n
• Positive, team-oriented attitude
\n
• Commitment to exceptional patient care
\n
• Comfort working in an on-site clinic environment
\n
