Develop & implement PLC and multi-axis motion control programs for advanced labeling systems Create clear documentation to support assembly, testing, debugging, and long-term servicing of equipment Collaborate cross-functionally with automation, electrical, and mechanical engineers, as well as sales teams and customers, to fully define project scope and requirements Evaluate and recommend hardware and software components that best fit each project‘s needs Troubleshoot & optimize complex automation systems to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability If this sounds like you, we want to connect! Education: BS in Electrical, Controls, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent Experience: 7+ years in controls engineering with a focus on motion control and high-speed automated machinery Proven experience in multi-axis motion control programming Skilled in structured text programming Hands-on experience with B&R Automation Studio (required) Familiarity with Allen Bradley CompactLogix and ControlLogix PLCs (preferred) Strong knowledge of communication protocols: OPC-UA, Powerlink, Ethernet/IP HMI programming experience (required), ideally with B&R mappView and Allen Bradley FactoryTalk SE/ME Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills for complex automation issues SQL database experience (plus) SCADA / MES experience (plus) Results-driven with high standards Organized, able to set priorities and track progress Team-oriented, collaborative, and willing to share knowledge Strong communicator—professional in listening, speaking, and writing Analytical problem solver with a structured approach to identifying causes and generating solutions What’s in it for you? These components, along with local and national compensation survey data, contribute to deciding a candidate's potential starting rate of pay. Total compensation includes your pay, potential short-term incentive opportunities, comprehensive medical/dental/vision programs, as well as life insurance, disability insurance, paid time off programs, a retirement savings plan with a company match, and a wellness program.
