Job Description:

Provide attentive and compassionate care to patients on the Neuro Med/Surg unit, managing patient ratios of 6:1, with support from tech staff and unit secretaries. Use various medical equipment and the Meditech documentation system to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Prioritize patient care and multitask effectively.
• Perform basic wound care and manage surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes.
• Administer IVs and maintain patient documentation.
• Conduct bedside shift reports and engage with patients and family members in care planning.

Requirements:

• Active RN license and BLS certification.
• Experience in Med/Surg and ability to start IVs.
