Responsibilities

• Circulate in the OR for orthopedic, urology, spine, and robotic procedures; manage sterile field and surgical equipment
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures; communicate changes to the surgical team
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and circulating staff to ensure patient safety and workflow efficiency
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of intraoperative care and patient progress
• Provide patient and family education regarding perioperative care and post-operative expectations

Requirements

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse license
• CPR/BLS certification; ACLS certification
• Ability to circulate in the OR and support heavy orthopedic, urology, spine, and robotic procedures
• Willingness to float to other facilities as needed
• Availability for dayshift 10-hour shifts and adherence to call requirements
