Travel Physical Therapist, Inpatient Rehabilitation - $1,545 per week

Overview Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Aventura, Florida. Responsibilities Provide physical therapy services to inpatients in a hospital setting, including longer 1.5 hour treatment sessions as needed. Manage a 1:1 patient caseload. Attend team conferences and participate in care planning. Document patient care in the Meditech electronic medical record system. Assignment Details Shift hours: 07:00–19:00. Patient ratio: 1:1. Call/coverage: rotating weekends. Documentation system: Meditech. Typical treatment structure: longer 1.5 hour treatment sessions and attendance at team conferences. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Florida Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS certification required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted). Experience working in an inpatient hospital setting. Experience with inpatient rehabilitation (IRF) or skilled nursing facility (SNF) preferred. Ability to manage 1:1 patient caseloads and provide 1.5 hour treatment sessions as needed. Experience with common physical therapy equipment used on the unit preferred, such as treadmills, car simulators, RT300, Bioness systems, and BITS. Experience with electronic medical record systems. Meditech experience preferred. Preferred Qualifications Previous travel therapy experience preferred. Comfort functioning independently in a fast-paced hospital unit.
