Details Hospital Emergency Department setting 12-hour night shifts Ability to work 48 hours per week is required 8-week contract duration Requirements Active CA RN license required Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIH Stroke Scale, and Moderate Sedation Training TNCC preferred Cerner and Epic experience required, both within the last 5 years Minimum 3 years of ER nursing experience required Recent experience working in the ER specialty within the last 3 months required Must have previously completed a travel contract or worked as a permanent employee at an organization (not a first-time traveler) Active, unrestricted RN license with no prior hits on record 2 supervisor references required: one from within the past year, one from within the past two years Specialty-specific skills checklist completed within the past year required for consideration Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration Additional Information This is an Epic conversion contract — Cerner and Epic proficiency is essential to the role No RTO (time off) will be approved during this contract; candidates requesting more than 5 days of RTO will not be considered All employment gaps of one month or longer must be documented and explained in work history PALS (AHA) is listed as a certification requirement in submission guidelines American Traveler Job ID P-728860.
