Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Gastroenterologist for a temporary assignment in Northampton, Massachusetts. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a Gastroenterologist:

• Perform procedures only, including Upper and Lower Endoscopies, Colonoscopies, and bread and butter GI procedures
• Complete approximately 12-16 procedures per day
• Work 3 days per week, preferably Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 8-hour shifts)
• Utilize Epic EMR/charting system for all documentation
• Provide care for adult patient age group
• Maintain active Massachusetts state license
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Maintain active DEA registration
• Hold required board certifications
• Provide minimum of 1 year of experience in comparable specialty/setting
• Complete credentialing process within 90-day timeframe
• Complete non-billable orientation during first 8 hours
• Adhere to all compliance documentation and requirements as determined by the client
