Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department. This role involves overseeing the delivery of both direct and indirect patient care through effective nursing practices.

Shift Details

This position is for the night shift, specifically from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients during admission and throughout their stay.
• Administer IV medications, therapies, and blood as needed.
• Provide patient education relevant to their care.
• Document nursing care actions, teaching, observations, and patient responses.
• May be required to take on charge nurse and preceptor roles as necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting is required.
• At least 1 year of previous critical care nursing experience is required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are mandatory.
• Candidates must not have any previous employment history with the organization.
• Candidates with hits or actions on their license or background will not be considered.
• Must reside outside of a 50-mile radius from the facility.

Additional Information

Orientation may require up to 16 hours, which is unpaid. The organization reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract.
