Position: Emergency Room Technician Location: Emergency Room at Taylor Regional Hospital, Kentucky Schedule: Full time position/ 11am-11pm What You’ll Do Documents and maintains accurate records. Communicates pertinent information regarding patient's progress and needs to appropriate hospital staff, including vital signs, pain level and comfort needs. Participates in required education, competencies, and annual training. Communicates effectively with patients, families, providers, and other team members. Follows HIPAA compliance. Responds to emergent situations, demonstrates strong skills, and responds appropriately. Verifies availability of emergency supplies (i.e., location of crash cart, oxygen tank, suction set-up). Accurately performs ER Tech procedures, operates, maintains and troubleshoots equipment in the assigned area. What We’re Looking For High School Diploma or equivalent SRNA certification preferred. 1-2+ years of experience required Job Demands------ Strong Communication Skills Ability to remain calm under pressure Maintain accurate and concise documentation Able to lift over 50lbs Support our mission to provide outstanding healthcare to the people we serve. BLS required through American Heart Association- new hire and renewals are included with TRH employment.
