Special Events Parking Attendant

Schedule: Event-based evenings and weekends as needed

Job Summary

BrightBase Management LLC is seeking reliable, energetic, and customer-focused individuals to support special-event parking operations in the Chattanooga area. This part-time role helps provide a safe, organized, and positive experience for athletes, families, spectators, and other guests. Team members may rotate among assignments based on event needs and work closely with event leadership and facility management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Provide friendly, professional customer service and help create a safe and positive parking experience.

· Direct vehicles and maintain orderly traffic flow during peak arrival and departure periods.

· Monitor assigned parking areas, including accessible parking spaces, and communicate capacity updates or operational needs to supervisors.

· Explain parking policies and safety procedures clearly and professionally.

· Remain alert for suspicious activity, hazards, incidents, or guest concerns and report them to supervisors, managers, or emergency personnel.

· Assist with traffic control, signage placement, and other parking operations as assigned.

· Work cooperatively with event staff and rotate between assignments based on event needs.

Qualifications

· Strong customer service and communication skills.

· Able to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

· Dependable, punctual, team-oriented, and able to follow directions.

· Reliable transportation required.

· Available to work evenings and weekends based on event schedules.

· Previous event, sports, or customer service experience is helpful but not required.

Physical Work and Schedule Requirements

· Able to stand and walk for extended periods in outdoor event settings with moderate to loud noise levels.

· Able to work in varying weather conditions and wear appropriate clothing for the weather.

· Variable-hour schedule, generally fewer than 20 hours per week.

· Most shifts are approximately four hours and typically occur between 3:00 p.m. and 8:00-9:00 p.m.

· Major events may require shifts of up to 12 hours; occasional morning or midday shifts may be available.

· BrightBase supplies shirts, jackets, umbrellas, and chairs for event assignments.
