Cloud Data & Analytics Engineer

AWS Solutions Architects Experience in design and implementation of distributed applications, networking, infrastructure, or database architecture. Experience with on‑premise to cloud migrations or IT transformations. Experience architecting and operating solutions built on AWS. Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT management, and developers. Excellent communication skills with an ability to right‑level conversations. Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly. Data Scientist, Advanced Data Analytics Strong knowledge of advanced statistical methods, Bayesian learning techniques, pattern recognition, and outlier detection algorithms. Experience with advanced topics such as decision trees, random forests, neural networks, and other deep learning methods. Familiarity with one or more script‑based data visualization tools such as ggplot, matplotlib, Shiny, or D3. Knowledge of machine learning or statistical modeling tools such as R, SAS, MATLAB, or Python (scikit‑learn, Theano). Proficiency in computer processes and methods, and familiarity with languages such as C/C++, Java, C#, SQL, Perl, Python, UNIX, shell scripting, distributed/parallel computing, and regular expressions. Familiarity with state‑of‑the‑art database techniques. Hands‑on technical experience with conceptualizing large‑scale data solutions, such as Hadoop, Teradata, Sybase IQ, Microsoft Analytics Platform System (Client), IBM Netezza, etc. BI Developers Help create reporting and analysis tools using Tableau, Cognos, Qlickview, SSRS, and other Business Intelligence applications. Support various stages of the end‑to‑end report development lifecycle. Support the development, optimization, and enhancement of BI reporting tools. Support maintenance of production BI reporting tools. Support analysis of requirements, design specifications, development, and technical and user documentation of report development through direct interaction with internal customers. Lead activities to understand business objectives, assumptions, and constraints related to a particular question/problem where reporting tools can serve as a solution. Communicate status issues and changes to the appropriate audience. Track, monitor, and communicate changes in reporting platforms and data sources to provide such insight to larger BI and IT teams. Strong analytical, quantitative, problem‑solving, and organizational skills; attention to detail; and ability to coordinate multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines. ETL Developers Develop complex data extracts, applications, and ad‑hoc queries as requested by internal and external customers using SQL, SSIS, and the Informatica toolset (Powercenter, B2B with MFT). Maintain production Business Intelligence products and solutions, including resolving production issues and responding quickly to priority problems. Research, troubleshoot, and resolve data issues impacting extract delivery. Work closely with Business Systems Analysts to understand requirements, ensure data quality, and match‑back to core system transaction results.
