*Securian’s internal job title is Product Consultant*Product Owner, Associate Productivity Solutions As the Product Owner for Associate Productivity Solutions, you will define and drive the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of enterprise productivity, collaboration, and communication technologies that enable associates to work more effectively.In this role, you will be accountable for maximizing the value of our productivity platform portfolio by aligning business needs, technology capabilities, and user experience goals. Working closely with business stakeholders, the AI Center of Excellence, AI Innovation Corner, engineering teams, infrastructure partners, and vendors, you will shape product direction, prioritize investments, and deliver capabilities that improve associate productivity, strengthen governance, and accelerate adoption of enterprise collaboration tools.This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, stakeholder influence, data-driven decision making, and Agile product management to ensure solutions deliver measurable business outcomes.Key AccountabilitiesDefine and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned to business priorities and associate needs.Partner with stakeholders across business, technology, operations, and vendor organizations to align priorities and outcomes.Translate business objectives into actionable product requirements, features, and delivery plans.Establish and track product OKRs, KPIs, and adoption metrics to measure value realization and continuous improvement.Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring priorities maximize business value and user outcomes. Facilitate backlog refinement, release planning, and Agile delivery activities.Lead prioritization decisions by evaluating business value, user impact, cost, risk, and technical considerations.Drive adoption and effective use of productivity technologies through ongoing engagement, feedback, and education strategies.Ensure platform governance, compliance, and operational sustainability while enabling innovation and experimentation.Assess market trends, emerging technologies, and AI capabilities to identify opportunities that improve associate productivity and experience.In-Scope Solutions Enterprise productivity and collaboration solutions used across the organization, including:Microsoft 365 (including SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, OneNote)AI productivity platforms for associates: (Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, and related AI-enabled capabilities)Collaboration and content management platforms (Box, Smartsheet, and future enterprise collaboration solutions)What Success Looks LikeStrong stakeholder partnerships and effective prioritization of initiatives and investments.A clear product roadmap aligned to organizational priorities and emerging technology opportunities.Increased associate adoption and satisfaction with productivity tools.Delivery of measured business value through productivity, efficiency, and collaboration improvements.Well-governed, scalable, and secure enterprise collaboration platforms.Required QualificationsAbility to connect technology investments to business outcomes and user needs.Ability to evaluate opportunities, risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs to maximize product value.Ability to foster strong partnerships and teamwork across cross-functional and distributed teams.Ability to build alignment across business and technology partners and effectively influence decision-making.Ability to communicate product vision, priorities, and outcomes to stakeholders and diverse audiences.Ability to use metrics, insights, and feedback to guide prioritization and continuous improvement.Ability to enable innovation while ensuring appropriate governance, compliance, and operational sustainability.Ability to apply Agile product management practices, including backlog management, release planning, iterative delivery, and continuous improvement.Preferred Qualifications1+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Analyst, Product Consultant, or similar product-focused role, delivering measurable business outcomes.Experience managing enterprise productivity, collaboration, or digital workplace platforms, including Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.Familiarity with AI-enabled workplace technologies such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, and emerging productivity solutions.Experience developing product strategies, roadmaps, and outcome-based delivery plans.Knowledge of platform governance, information architecture, content management, and platform lifecycle practices.Experience working within Agile teams and using tools such as Jira to support product delivery.Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent Agile/Product Management certification preferred or willingness to acquire.#LI-Hybrid **This position will have a hybrid working arrangement, working in-office for a minimum of 3 days a week.** Securian Financial believes in hybrid work as an integral part of our culture.
