The Operations Manager ensures effective operation of the applicable division(s), supervising technical and administrative personnel to meet financial and operational goals. The Manager also ensures customer satisfaction and a safe working environment with properly trained personnel. Job Responsibilities Work with the General Manager and other managers to develop financial and operational goals Ensure the effective operation of the division and the efficiency of personnel Establish productivity goals for technical and administrative teams aligned with division priorities Achieve monthly revenue and cost-control targets; address budgetary deficiencies as needed Lead technical and administrative personnel in delivering high levels of customer service Learn and ensure compliance with applicable industry codes Protect the company’s assets Perform other tasks as assigned by the General Manager or Managing Member Job Requirements Minimum of 3 years of related operational management experience in the fire protection industry or the commercial customer service sector Knowledge of NICET requirements or equivalent training from manufacturers or institutions Established knowledge of all product lines and services offered by Impact Fire Services Competency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn the company’s information systems Strong interviewing and hiring skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements Willingness to travel, including overnight lodging Demonstrated high level of customer service Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly Valid driver’s license and driving record meeting company requirements Desirable qualifications A four-year college degree in management or business administration or comparable experience Industry licensing or certification of competency with fire alarms and commercial sprinkler systems Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required.
