Key responsibilities of the RN NICU include:

• Provide care for newborns with acute conditions
• Monitor patients' vital signs and developmental progress
• Administer medications and manage high-tech neonatal equipment
• Collaborate with intensivists and multidisciplinary teams
• Prepare and educate families on newborn care post-discharge

Requirements of the RN NICU include:

• Active RN license
• BLS and NRP certifications
• 2 years of Level 3 and/or Level 4 NICU experience
• Proficiency with EPIC, ventilators, and critical care procedures
