Job Overview Job Title: Support Worker Salary: £28,031.56 per annum Contract Type: Permanent Working Hours: 37.5 Hours per week Working Pattern: 7 day rolling rota Location: Britton House, Bristol About the Role You will be working from one of our supported services, providing support to our customers in a variety of ways, such as connecting them with employability coaches and other support agencies, helping them manage their money and sign up for benefits, or move on to a more permanent home. You will help boost their confidence and support them on their journey as they rebuild their lives. This role requires keeping records of everything, so there is some admin to do. It can be tough at times, but most of the time it can be incredibly rewarding. You will need to be resilient, empathetic, and able to leave your work at work and not take it home with you. Key Responsibilities Provide support to vulnerable customers, connecting them with employability coaches, support agencies, and benefits. Support customers in managing finances and housing transitions. Maintain accurate records of support activities and outcomes. Work flexible hours, including lone working, to meet customer and business needs. Qualifications & Experience Experience of working with vulnerable people. Experience of delivering structured support and risk management. Team player with a caring, empathetic nature and a resilient can‑do attitude. Understanding of supporting vulnerable people – this could include having lived experience of homelessness or drug or alcohol addiction. Why Riverside? We are a housing association with a difference.
