The Opportunity

We're looking for a strategic, data-driven and growth-oriented Marketing Manager to join our high-performing Marketing team—a central, highly visible function that partners across the organization and with executive leadership to shape the narrative of electric cooperatives nationwide.

You will be a trusted strategic partner responsible for developing and leading integrated marketing campaigns that directly influence product adoption, member engagement and revenue growth across NRECA's suite of programs, services, and educational offerings.

You'll bring a modern marketer's mindset—combining audience insights, data analytics, and emerging tools like AI-assisted content development—to design campaigns that drive measurable results. Along the way, you'll help elevate how we go to market, telling compelling stories that demonstrate the value of NRECA membership and the impact of electric cooperatives.

This Position is eligible for NRECA's hybrid schedule which allows flexibility to work from home up to 2 days per/week

Qualifications

What You Bring

Required:

• 5+ years of experience in marketing, ideally within a complex, matrixed organization.
• Proven ability to develop and execute integrated, multichannel campaigns that drive measurable outcomes.
• Strong experience using data, audience segmentation and analytics to inform strategy and optimize performance.
• A strategic mindset with the ability to connect marketing efforts to business impact and growth.
• Exceptional communication skills with a talent for translating ideas into compelling, actionable messaging.

Preferred:

• Experience in product marketing, education, events or membership-driven organizations
• Experience in a trade association or mission-driven environment

Essential Physical Requirements

• The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal and extensive reading.
• Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.

Salary Range: $101,000–$124,000 annual salary

Final compensation determined by individual qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
