As an Allied Universal Security Professional in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide welcoming customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. You will use communication and technology skills to report observations and support daily operations while reflecting our agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven values through teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, critical situations, and medical facility disruptions in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, patient care areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and wayfinding, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security professional license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
