PCU Registered Nurse
Schedule
7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (7p - 7:30a) with 36 hours scheduled and 24 hours guaranteed. Every other weekend and holidays as per unit rotation.
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled PCU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care, specifically for Cardiac and Medical/Surgical PCU patients. This position requires proficiency in telemetry monitoring and the ability to float between various units as needed.
Responsibilities
- Care for Cardiac and M/S PCU patients, monitoring vitals and telemetry.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Participate in unit-based activities and maintain compliance with health standards.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 24 months of recent PCU experience.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with no restrictions.
- Current certifications in BLS and ACLS from approved vendors.
- NIHSS certification required.
- Driver's license for residency verification.
