Human Resources Operations Coordinator

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Onsite Overview: Addison Group is partnering with a growing organization to identify an HR Operations Coordinator to support a dynamic Human Resources team. This role is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented HR professional who enjoys owning the onboarding process, supporting recruiting efforts, maintaining HR systems, and delivering an exceptional employee experience. The HR Operations Coordinator will serve as a key partner across HR operations by coordinating preboarding and onboarding activities, maintaining HRIS data integrity, supporting recruiting initiatives, and driving process improvements. Key Responsibilities: Own the full preboarding and onboarding process from offer acceptance through Day 1 and post-onboarding follow-up. Coordinate background checks, drug screens, reference checks, and all pre-employment requirements with candidates and third-party vendors. Ensure timely and accurate employee data entry and updates within UKG, including new hires, transfers, terminations, and employee record changes. Serve as the primary point of contact for onboarding status updates, troubleshooting delays, and ensuring a seamless new hire experience. Coordinate New Employee Orientation (NEO), including scheduling, onboarding materials, system access, and required documentation. Maintain onboarding checklists, timelines, acknowledgements, and documentation to ensure compliance. Screen resumes and source candidates through various recruiting channels. Support HR Generalists with interview scheduling, candidate communication, reference checks, and additional recruiting activities. Monitor and manage the HR inbox, responding to employee inquiries or routing requests to the appropriate HR team member. Provide exceptional customer service to employees, candidates, and leadership while maintaining confidentiality. Maintain accurate HRIS records and support ongoing HR systems updates and data integrity initiatives. Assist with documenting and maintaining HR Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and enhance the employee experience. Support HR projects, operational initiatives, and other responsibilities as assigned. What They're Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent HR experience). 2–5 years of experience in Human Resources, HR Operations, Recruiting, or an HR administrative role within the Healthcare industry. Experience supporting onboarding, recruiting, and HR operations. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. High level of discretion when handling confidential employee information. Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-service mindset. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with HR leadership and cross-functional teams. Analytical mindset with a passion for process improvement. Experience with UKG or another HRIS platform preferred. Healthcare or multi-site organizational experience preferred. HR certification (PHR or SHRM-CP), or interest in pursuing certification, is a plus.
