Concrete Finisher / Placer - FloriCrete, Tampa, FL 33637 Company Conformance Statements In the performance of their respective tasks and duties all employees of the FloriCrete work within deadlines with or without direct supervision. Responsible for the application or repair of concrete materials. Unloads materials, cleans off roof, applies concrete material, and cleans site after job is complete. Daily Responsibilities Aid in the casting of Lightweight Insulating Concrete and the spreading, and smoothing of wet concrete to the desired pitch and depth using tools like screeds, darbys and hand trowels. Check the finished product to ensure it meets specifications and quality standards (will train). Unload materials and equipment from truck. Lift materials and equipment onto roof using pulleys, ladder and/or crane. Ensure there is enough material for entire roof. Proper and safe use of equipment, scaffolding, and hoists. Safely install insulation and concrete materials with the proper tools, in accordance with approved plans. Maintain a clean and organized work environment and provide additional cleanup duties as needed. Special Position Requirements Ability to lift to 50 lbs. Physically capable of performing operations that require body movement, lifting, and similar functions sometimes at heights and adverse climatic conditions. Stand for longer periods of time. Projects may require working extended hours, nights, or weekends if needed to meet schedule and/or goals. Reliable transportation to and from work.
