Adjunct Faculty, Mechanical Engineering

Position Description The Mechanical Engineering Department in the School of Engineeringat Manhattan University seeks qualified adjunct faculty members toteach in its undergraduate Bachelor of Science programs. Coursesmay be offered during daytime or evening hours, and instruction isexpected to be delivered in person on campus. Job Responsibilities Teach undergraduate and graduate mechanical engineering coursesand/or laboratories in assigned areas. Deliver course materials, assignments, and assessments alignedwith departmental expectations. Maintain regular communication with students and provide timelyfeedback on coursework. Hold office hours or provide reasonable out-of-class supportfor students. Work collaboratively with course coordinators and departmentleadership to ensure consistency of course content and learningoutcomes. Requirements Applicants must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in engineering ora related STEM discipline, with a minimum of a Master’s degree in arelevant field of study. Prior teaching experience and/orprofessional engineering practice is strongly preferred.
