Overview
We are seeking dedicated and passionate instructors in English to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering instruction to students at various levels, fostering a positive learning environment, and promoting critical thinking and problem-solving skills. This role requires the ability to engage and motivate students.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Utilize learning technology and instructional design techniques to enhance student understanding and engagement.
- Assess student progress through quizzes, and assignments while providing constructive feedback.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a conducive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and participate in academic advising for students.
- Provide tutoring support for students needing additional assistance outside of regular class hours.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Proven experience working with students in a classroom setting.
- Strong knowledge of of English concepts
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts to students of varying abilities.
- Background in higher education teaching or adult education is a plus.
