How you’ll make an impact in this role Join an established, stable and experienced team of Physicians and Nurse Practitioners Practice setting: Inpatient Full-time Busy Pediatric Hospitalist Service Great access to Pediatric Subspecialists High acuity Nice mix of 10 hr and 24 hr in-house shifts See patients on General Pediatric Floor and Pediatric Nursery Some PICU coverage Rare delivery room coverage and ER consultations as needed Opportunity to teach Medical Students 24 Pediatric beds 4 PICU beds 30 Pediatric Nursery beds Excellent office support staff Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Hospitalist Eligible for state medical license and DEA/Controlled Substance registration About The Facility 131 bed hospital All private rooms Level III NICU/PICU 3,000 plus births Integrated referral network Part of Ascension, a national nonprofit Catholic health system Why Physicians Choose Ascension Physician-led, collaborative culture Long-term practice stability National network with local autonomy Mission-centered care rooted in service What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
