Position Overview

As a Neurology Physician Assistant (PA) , you will enjoy a high degree of clinical autonomy while working alongside a collaborative team of physicians and specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed neurological examinations and evaluate patients with a wide variety of acute and chronic neurological disorders.
• Develop and implement comprehensive patient management plans, record detailed progress notes, and ensure continuity of care.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to accurately identify and assess patients' clinical problems.
• Prescribe targeted therapies or medications in alignment with clinic protocols and physician collaboration.
• Collaborate closely with the wider neurology team to optimize complex patient care.
• Advocate for health promotion and disease prevention while offering empathetic guidance and counseling to patients and their families.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program (NCCPA certified).
• Licensure: Current and unrestricted state license as a Physician Assistant (PA).
• Experience: 2+ years of clinical provider experience specifically in neurology.
• Skills: Strong clinical acumen with a proven ability to work independently and autonomously. Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-first mentality are essential.
