Physical Therapy Assistant - Full Time

We're hiring a licensed PTA to work with one of our trusted clients where you'll support patients recovering from injuries, illnesses, or surgeries-helping them manage pain and regain movement-under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Minimum Requirements:

• Associate's degree in physical therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Alaska State License or eligibility to obtain Alaska PTA licensure prior to start.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience providing PTA services in hospital-based rehabilitation, outpatient and inpatient settings preferred.
• Ability to implement physical therapist plan of care, document encounters, and communicate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to perform occasional travel to remote locations by boat or small plane and to work in varied community settings.
• Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payer billing practices preferred.
• Ability to direct the work of support staff, students, or interns as needed.
• Adherence to APTA standards and Alaska Board of Physical Therapy practice principles.
