Job Description

• Craft Personalized Care Plans: Assess individual patient needs and create therapy strategies tailored to help them meet their functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily activities
• Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Engage with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Educate Patients and Families: Offer guidance to patients and caregivers on therapy practices to facilitate ongoing recovery at home
• Track Progress and Adjust Treatment: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify strategies as necessary, ensuring patients remain on the path to recovery

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Ongoing education or postgraduate certifications encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
