The position plays a vital role in guiding the digital transformation of construction, promoting data-driven project execution by collaborating extensively with functional leaders, Digital & Information Technology (D&IT) and management throughout the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop business and technology aligned roadmaps to demonstrate solution and market sector support of capabilitiesPrioritize investments and make critical decisions on where to invest based upon business needsAct as point of escalation for underperforming technologies, capabilities and vendors to ensure best outcomes for the businessDelegate and distribute post implementation and support capabilities to extended team members ensuring focus on long term and strategic effortsBuild business cases, including NPV analysis and change management plans, to share with senior leadership regarding critical investment needsLead and drive delivery of new and advanced capabilities for construction by influencing Office of Chief Digital Technology Officer (CDTO) and other stakeholder groupsMaintain working knowledge of construction best practices and policiesFunctional ownership (for interface with IT group) of construction systemsMaintain documentation of construction data and functional requirementsAdminister construction tool and system evaluation and selection processesManagement ResponsibilitiesActs in capacity of a "lead person." Does not have management responsibility for the people to whom they provide work direction. Supervises work of others. Responsible for hiring, discipline, and pay administration of their subordinates.Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree or local equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management or Business AdministrationKnowledge of data architecture concepts and construction technology industryField assignment experience (Construction / Project Controls)Proven SME in all areas of ConstructionEffective collaboration and proven ability to positively influence decision makingDevelop and implement operational tactics aligned with business strategyMinimum QualificationsFour-year Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Information Systems or local equivalent with 8 years of construction management experience8+ years of engineering and construction operations leadership experience3+ years of technology management experience and years of innovation advancements in constructionAll applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.Work Environment/Physical Demands Typical office environment Including sitting, walking, talking, hearing, reading, writing, keyboarding, driving, filing, reaching, stooping, crouching, bending, standing for extended periods of time, lifting or carrying up to 40 pounds.
