Job Description:
- Designing singulation, conveyance, and material handling systems that deliver
- scrap to the sensor head at precise positions and speeds
- Owning machine frames, enclosures, guarding, and sensor head mounting -
- ensuring optical alignment holds under vibration and harsh scrapyard conditions
- Managing tolerance stack-ups, GD&T, DFM, and full fabrication packages through
- vendor and machine shop coordination
- Leading on-site install, commissioning, and field iteration cycles - building,
- testing, and improving with your own hands
- Driving throughput and uptime modeling, factory layout, line balancing, and
- maintenance access planning
