RN - Medical Surgical Telemetry Nurse, Full Nights

Summary: Provide professional nursing care for patients on a medical surgical telemetry unit during night shifts. This role includes charge nurse responsibilities as assigned and requires strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Demonstrate effective organizational and leadership abilities while addressing the physiological, psychosocial, developmental, and spiritual needs of patients typically served.

Work Environment: The position involves frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting. It may require contact with blood or other potentially infectious materials through skin, eyes, mucous membranes, or parenteral routes. Visual and auditory acuity are essential for patient observation and communication.

Education and Certifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Leadership skills to assume charge nurse duties when needed
