Payroll Clerk

Job Description The Payroll Clerk is responsible for assisting the Accounting Department in all accounting functions and related operations. Equally important is the responsibility of assisting all management in the prevention and detection of any unethical or illegal behavior or any company policy violations that become apparent in the performance of the accounting and administrative duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following but not limited to. Communicate any Unethical, Illegal or Policy Violations to the Corporate Compliance Officer. Communicate any Recommendations for Improvements in Operations or Administrative Procedures to the Chief Financial Officer. Process Payroll Accurate and Timely. Process Expense Reimbursements Accurate and Timely. Assist with Cash Management Function of recording Daily Cash Activity and Maintaining Cash Balances. Conduct the Quarterly Cash Audits at the various Sites. Assist with the Accounts Payable Process. Assist with Routine Financial and Accounting Related Communications through E-mail and Memos to other departments. Assist with Year-End Physical Inventories as needed. Other accounting related duties as assigned by management. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
