Vaccines Specialist, Health and Science Professional

Role Summary The Vaccines Health and Science Professional (HSP) is responsible for promoting a vaccines portfolio across customers and channels. This position requires regular in-field customer engagement as well as virtual engagements. The HSP is accountable for launching new products, deciding on strategies to manage business relationships, securing formulary access, and engaging in product promotion within the assigned geography. The HSP also conducts sales efforts and develops relationships with customers and key accounts, including Therapeutic Area Specialists and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). The HSP should possess customer, market, and business acumen combined with strong product and disease‑state knowledge; demonstrate strong sales, strategic business development, account management skills and in‑depth customer engagement expertise in both virtual and in‑person settings; utilize a systematic approach to virtual engagement (e.g., clear agenda, next steps/follow‑ups); have outstanding communication skills; and be adept at using digital and virtual tools and multi‑platforms. The role requires effective remote collaboration with cross‑functional internal teams to address customer needs and comply with Pfizer business objectives. Role Responsibilities Drive sales in assigned territory to maximize approved business objectives. Engage with customers both face to face and virtually. Develop and implement effective business and territory call plans; identify and execute live/virtual engagement strategies to maximize overall effectiveness and impact. Build rapport and relationships with customers in both live and virtual environments; use judgment to maintain engagement by effectively leveraging digital tools. Use internal reports and analytics to identify, develop, and implement strategic business opportunities. Comply with product and disease‑state knowledge using approved clinically oriented disease‑state information and patient resources, as applicable. Demonstrate market knowledge, uncovering barriers and drivers across all relevant business channels (Public Health, Private Market, Retail, etc.). Collaborate effectively and compliantly with cross‑functional colleagues, including Field Medical and Account Management, to address customer inquiries and advance Pfizer objectives. Complete all administrative expectations on time and compliantly (e.g., enter customer calls appropriately, submit expenses, respond to all requests from sales leadership, managers, and/or Pfizer internal partners). Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree. Minimum 2 years of experience in one or more of the following OR an associate's degree with 6+ years of experience; OR high school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of relevant experience. Professional Sales or Promotional Activity. Small Business Owner or other entrepreneurial experience, marketing, customer service and/or account management. Relevant healthcare/scientific roles (e.g., RN, pharmacist, PT, OT, etc.). Educator (e.g., teacher, principal). Full‑time military experience. Must live within 25 miles of the border of the territory. Valid U.S. driver's license and driving record in compliance with company standards. Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years will disqualify you from being hired. Preferred Qualifications At least 1 year of pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales and/or medical‑related marketing. Strong track record of sales or marketing success, strong territory management skills, outstanding communication skills, and demonstrated teamwork, leadership ability and accountability. Experience with vaccines therapeutic area and products. Knowledge of posted territory customers and markets (prescribers/HCPs/institutions/organizations). Reside within the territory boundaries. Other Job Details Last Date to Apply: June 16, 2026 The annual base salary for this position ranges from 76,000 to 199,600 dollars. During initial new hire sales training, you will be classified as a salary non‑exempt employee which entitles you to overtime pay. Upon your training certification, you will become an overtime exempt employee. The position also offers a quarterly sales incentive bonus. Benefits include a 401(k) plan with Pfizer matching contributions and an additional Pfizer retirement savings contribution, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage. Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs and/or eligibility. Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the United States by any employer. U.S. work visa sponsorship (such as TN, O‑1, H‑1B, etc.) is not available for this role now or in the future.
