Job Summary
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) Oro Valley, AZ. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care to patients in a fast-paced hospital setting. The RN will utilize critical thinking and clinical expertise to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes in the emergency department.

Job Details

• Position Description: The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department holds shift accountability for patient care by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures. The RN demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care for patients in the emergency department. They maintain clinical competencies through continuing education, delegate patient care priorities appropriately based on education and experience of available staff, and provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
• Required Qualifications: AZ license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, ER experience, 2+ years of experience, Cerner EMR experience, available for night shifts (7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.), with rotating weekends.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM.
• Additional Information: Must be willing to float to Marana Emergency Department and sister hospitals including Northwest Medical Center, Northwest Houghton, and Northwest Sahuarita.
