You'll be surrounded by an open, collaborative culture that embraces diversity, recognition, professional development and, most importantly, you.Are you ready to make your impact?About the RoleIn FTI Consulting's Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment we focus on our clients' strategic, operational, financial and capital needs by addressing the full spectrum of financial and transactional challenges faced by corporations, boards, private equity sponsors, creditor constituencies and other stakeholders.What You'll DoKey responsibilities include:Day-to-day activities of projects including interaction with top restructuring experts in the industry, legal and finance professionals from other firms, and senior client managementApply business, accounting, finance, and diagnostic skills to various client situations and practice disciplinesPrepare complex financial projections and other financial modelsDevelop and assess business plans and cash flow forecastsAnalyze financial information and conduct due diligence associated with restructuring plansPrepare presentations and reports for external clientUnderstand all aspects of the client's business, including review of ongoing operationsWork with the client's senior management, legal counsel, and/or other financial advisors to evaluate potential restructuring transactions or alternativesAssist with practice development including the creation of pitches and conducting market researchHow You'll GrowThis is an excellent opportunity for a person with proven, hands-on corporate finance experience who wants to provide analytical services to debtors, creditors and other stakeholders of companies in times of critical need.What You Will Need to SucceedBasic QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance2+ years post-graduation professional work experience in investment banking, corporate lending, consulting, public accounting, or other professional services environmentAdvanced Excel and PowerPoint skillsAnalysis of financial statementsStrong written and verbal communication skillsFlexible and comfortable working across multiple workstreams and engagements in a team-oriented, fast-paced environmentThis role requires travel to clients and FTI officesPreferred QualificationsDemonstrated ability in the following areas:Preparation of financial models such as three statement modelsAnalysis of cash flows and 13-week forecastsFamiliarity with bankruptcy, restructuring processesFamiliarity with bankruptcy documents (first day motions, restructuring support agreements, plans of reorganization, disclosure statement, etc.) and credit agreementsFTI Consulting is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, protected veteran status, religion, physical or mental disability, marital status, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, or any other basis protected by law, ordinance, or regulation.Compensation Minimum Pay: $78,500Maximum Pay: $163,000 Compensation Disclosure: The compensation range reflects potential base salary for the role. Actual compensation is determined based on a wide array of relevant factors including market considerations, business needs, and an individual's location, skills, level of experience, and qualifications.
