Network ArchitectRequired Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in network engineering or network architecture roles, including hands-on design and implementation of LAN, WAN, and wireless environments. Working experience with Cisco Meraki, including switching, wireless, SD-WAN, and security appliances. Familiarity with next-generation firewall or SASE platforms such as Palo Alto Networks is a plus. Understanding of network segmentation, VLANs, routing, and basic firewall policy concepts. Experience supporting multi-site organizations or distributed environments is preferred. Basic understanding of network operations practices, including monitoring, incident response, and change management. Exposure to hybrid cloud connectivity concepts (VPN, ExpressRoute) with environments such as Microsoft Azure is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively with Cybersecurity, Cloud/Systems, Network Operations, and Field Services teams. Good communication and documentation skills; ability to explain technical concepts clearly to teammates and stakeholders. Willingness to travel as needed to support offices and project locations.Nice to Have Skills & Experience Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent experience are preferred.Job Description One of Insight Global's customers is looking to onboard a Network Architect to their team. The Enterprise Network team is responsible for the design, security, and performance of connectivity across the client's corporate offices, data centers, and distributed construction sites nationwide. This role supports the ongoing design, implementation, and improvement of the network estate as Southland modernizes from a flat, Meraki-based network toward a segmented, zero trust architecture. As Network Architect, you will design and implement network solutions across LAN/WAN, wireless, SD-WAN, and network security, working under the direction of the Lead Network Architect. This includes supporting the evaluation of new platforms such as Palo Alto Networks alongside the existing Cisco Meraki infrastructure, implementing segmentation and zero trust designs, and building out connectivity for new offices and project sites. The focus is simple: turn architecture standards into working, reliable designs that are secure by default, easy to stand up at new locations, and straightforward for Network Operations and Field Services teams to run day to day. You will work closely with the Lead Network Architect, Cybersecurity, Cloud/Systems, Network Operations, and Field Services to design and deliver network connectivity that supports how they operate today and how they need to grow. Travel to offices or project locations will be required depending on business needs. This is a remote role and travel will be required as needed to support offices, projects, and strategic initiatives.
