As a Security Officer Patrol Agent in Burlington, VT , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, help to deter security-related incidents, and support patients, staff, and visitors through strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $31.89 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols, while reporting unusual behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support a professional environment by providing directions, assisting with visitor-related questions, and following post orders for alarm response, escort activity, and other security-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
