This is position is Fulltime or Partime. As a Cashier, you will:
• Greet every guest with warmth and energy within 3 seconds of their approach to the counter.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using our Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Repeat orders back to guests before entry to confirm accuracy — this is our standard, not a suggestion.
• Capture all order modifiers, special requests, and dietary notes completely.
• Process all payment types: cash, card, digital wallets, gift cards, and loyalty rewards.
• Communicate out-of-stock items (the 86 list) to guests with a friendly, solution-forward approach.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready front counter throughout your shift.
• Monitor the KDS queue and alert the kitchen if any ticket is aging past target time.
As an Expediter, you will:
• Monitor the Kitchen Display System (KDS) and ensure every active ticket is visible and being addressed.
• Cross-reference every completed order against the KDS ticket — protein, starch, sides, bread, sauce, and all modifiers must match exactly before hand-off.
• Call out discrepancies immediately to the correct station (Pit-Master for proteins, Line Cook for sides and bread).
• Bag and tray all orders in the correct format — dine-in tray or to-go bag — and confirm guest name or order number.
• Track ticket times and flag any aging orders to the Expo / kitchen lead.
• Keep the expo counter clean, organized, and clutter-free during service.
• Relay any out-of-stock changes from the kitchen to the Cashier immediately.
