Position Details PositionTitle: Temporary Facilities Technician College/Division: Auxiliary Services Department: 530300-AUXILIARY ADMINISTRATION Location: Las Cruces Target Hourly/Salary Rate: $15.45 Appointment Full-time Equivalency: 0.74 Maximum FLSA Status :Non-Exempt Bargaining Unit Announcement: This is NOT a bargaining unit position with American Federation of State, County & Municipal Employees (AFSCME). Contingent Upon Funding: Contingent upon funding Standard Work Schedule: Shift: Other Shift If Not a Standard Work Schedule: Up to 29 hours per week: M-F, 8-5, with occasional nights and weekends worked. Job Duties and Responsibilities At the direction of the Auxiliary Facility Maintenance Supervisor, triage work order request and perform routine maintenance actions such as changing lightbulbs. Qualifications Required Education and Experience: Required Education:None Required Experience:One (1) year of experience related to the standard duties as outlined. Equivalency:Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience as approved by Human Resource Services. Working Conditions and Physical Effort Environment: Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises. Physical Effort: Considerable physical activity. Physical work is a primary part (more than 70%) of the job. Lifting Requirements: Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.
