Ultrasound Technologist Position: Ultrasound Technologist Location: St. Joseph Hospital, Eureka, CA Schedule: Full time, 8‑hour day shifts. Pay Range: $50.54 – $64.68 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, and bonuses. Responsibilities Perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures and related activities for patients of all ages, following department standards. Serve as a customer service representative to patients, families, public, and medical staff. Participate in quality control and organizational improvement activities. Act as a clinical/technical resource for less experienced sonographers. Participate in call scheduling to meet staffing needs. Required Qualifications Graduate of a diagnostic ultrasound program approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association or equivalent education/experience. National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire. National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire. Preferred Qualifications Experience as a hospital‑based ultrasound technologist.
